I am absolutely obsessed with Oscar de la Renta's spring 2011 line. It is uber feminine and extremely glamorous. The gowns, like the green one above, are absolutely beautiful. You can see the detail and craftsmanship that it took to create this gown. I want this gown! The entire collection is absolutely gorgeous. Gotta love Oscar!

Water Color Rendering
This elevation was taken from my childrens clothing boutique "Penny Lane" in my Studio 3 class. The drawing came out exactly how I wanted it and has just enough detail. In my opinion, water color rendering is way easier and prettier than using prisma pens and markers. They also aren't as expensive. This rendering will make my portfolio be even more complete. Do you guys like it?

Exhibition Narrative
Globalization is a touchy and controversial subject for some and has existed for hundreds of years. Although this topic may not be new, this globalization exhibit will need to present itself in a new way that meets and fulfills all the human senses to those of today’s culture. It needs to be refreshing and give people insight on what’s going on in the world today in terms of economic trade and global interaction.
Globalization has allowed regional economies, societies and cultures to become integrated. Through globalization there has been a global network of political ideas through communication, trade and transportation. It is the interaction among people, and companies at different nations, now which is mostly done through technology. Some believe that globalization will allow poor countries to advance and raise their standards of living when in actuality; I beg to differ and believe that there is no other country that can top America in technological advances, money and power. Most countries that we trade with are poor countries. Some may benefit and some may not due to what’s created or what region it is coming out of. This exhibition needs to intertwine the lives of the individuals who don’t see what goes on behind the trade world. I want this exhibition to create a space where individuals can see physical objects in front of them but have a presentation or projection along with the item showcasing how the item was made, where it came from, who made it etc. I’m not exactly sure how I would like to showcase these individual spaces but I Know I want to use technology, with touch screens or even projectors to get my main points across.
I want visitors of this exhibition to leave feeling informed and refreshed. I want people to leave this exhibition and go tell others to go and see it as well. I want the viewer to emotionally and physically get what point the design is trying to get across. Globalization some may agree or disagree with and probably will never have a wrong or right answer for. This exhibit will allow for those to come up with their own answer based on what they see, hear and feel. This exhibit will compare the world of trade and compare and contrast what really goes on in the American world as opposed to other countries.
Globalization
Here is a video that I created for my Studio III class. I am designing an exhibit space based off the concept of Globalization. This video gives one a sense of where I would like to go with the space. Enjoy and tell me if you like it.

Little Things
These pillows by John Robshaw are so adorable. The patterns on the pillows remind me of the patterns found on the ruins of Greece's Mycenae. They look Greek or Moroccan inspired. I love them. They are colorful and fun and could brighten up any space with just the right color blue.

I Just Died
Seriously...can I please have this bathroom! The textured wall, along with the tile pattern flooring and pink color palette go sooooo good together. The pepto-bismal pink surprisingly goes great with the space. The visualcomfort flower pendant sets the bathroom off completely. HOT
This bathroom is beautiful. The entire bathroom was done in carrerra marble. It's crisp, clean, mature and sexy. I can easily see this bathroom in my house.

Jean Paul Gaultier
I am so obsessed with Jean Paul Gaultier's furniture line. It's so different, bohemian and fun. His style might not be for everyone but I love it. It has an Indian/Moroccan feel. I can easily see seating like above on the top of a swank hotel's rooftop or in a Hotel or Restaurant lounge area.
The metallic tiles on the wall are so sexy. I love it
