Frost

Here below  is a snowball stand that I designed created out of a shipping container. The snowball stand would be called "Frost" and located in Uptown, New Orleans. I created this for my studio IV class but in all honesty, I would really love to get this snowball stand made.  Maybe I will :)

Blue Plate Lofts

This summer, I am helping my mom with the interior for the new upcoming Blue Plate artists lofts in Uptown, New Orleans. I am so excited to see what we have created come to life in this newly renovated historic space. The space has been completely gutted and they are now in the process of putting up walls, electrical and plumbing.  The exterior of the building reminds me of "Bauhaus" style architecture. The interior will be contemporary but with a twist. I am so excited and can't wait to see how it will turn out. Official designing of the space and putting in furniture starts at the beginning of 2012. 

Above is a hallway elevation of what the space will look like inside. The client loved the blue doors, but I think we are going with black instead. Here below is just a sneak peak of what some of the furniture and some of the finishes will look like in the actual lofts themselves. It's going to be amazing!
